You may confused how to select the printing machine for my pen production.Hereby write to provide some suggestion for reference.
If the pen barrel is cylinder shape and difficult to fix position during printing.You can use screen printing for printing 1 color pen barrel or use heat transfer printing and labeling for multi color printing.
Comparing the printing cost of screen printing,heat transfer printing.There is no doubt that screen printing will be cheaper cost.Especially for printing solid color or not very complicated artwork.But heat transfer printing is featured with bright color and colorful image.
As you know,the printing consumables are necessary for each printing machine.For example,
pad printing:printing ink,ink cup(or ink blade),printing plate,ink thinner,silicone pad,fixture
screen printing:screen printing machine,squeegee,screen printing ink,ink thinner,fixture
heat transfer printing:rubber roller,printed heat transfer film,fixture
hot stamping:rubber(or hot stamping plate),hot stamping foil,fixture
labeling:printed labels
It's very important to evaluate the continuous printing support.As i know,some countries no related suppliers for heat transfer film nor hot stamping plate.It will take long time to order printed heat transfer film and printed labels from other countries.It will delay your delivery time and more shipping cost.
But some customers prefer to print by pad printing machine.Because printing on the ruler bevel.Sometimes,just print customized logo on the ruler.
